I freely admit it… I’m extremely anal about my email inbox. Nothing lives in there long, and the ones that are in there are only there because I haven’t figured out what action is needed.

I find myself using signoffs like “I look forward to hearing from you” or “I hope all is well” in my emails, but I avoid a change in voice by literally omitting them in subsequent replies. If my signature is in a previous email, I will just end the current message with “-ian” and leave it at that. Seems to work for me and my clients… Thoughts? […]
